I started my journey 50 pounds overweight. I joined a weight loss challenge, lost weight, and quit smoking. From there, my passion for helping people with their health goals came to life. As a personal wellness coach and fitness instructor, I work with people who want to improve their health by teaching nutrition and fitness. It's terrific to hear when clients can do activities they haven't done before or haven't done in a long time! Get the health, fitness, energy, weight loss, weight gain, or desired results! I work with anyone with any goal.
I love the outdoors—hiking, swimming, skiing, camping, etc. I aim to have the energy to continue doing those things for a long time. I offer fitness classes in South Aurora and nutrition and wellness coaching, too!

Hi! My closest friends and family call me C.J. (feel free to call me Carol or CJ, I’ll answer to both). I am a stepmother to 5 boys who always keep me guessing, the youngest of 4 sisters, and a lover of the giant dog breeds! At one point, I had a Siberian Husky, Saint Bernard, and a Newfoundland.... that’s a lot of fur! Nowadays, my boys are grown, and I’m down to my Newfoundland. Those who know me and grew up with me would all agree that I have never had a ‘physical workout’ type of personality... But all it took was a surprise to my sister at one of her POUND classes, and the hook set. I participated in that fateful class 2 years ago and haven’t looked back since. It literally changed my perspective on working out, that it could actually be FUN and ENJOYABLE. I became a certified POUND Pro to take my love of the ripstix to the next level. Hi, I’m Claire, an instructor for SHiNE™ Tribe 5280 in Southeast Denver, Colorado. I was born and raised in Colorado, and my husband and I have three amazing kids who I am privileged to homeschool here too.
I was recently certified as a SHiNE Dance Fitness™ instructor, but I have been taking SHiNE™ classes since 2020 when I absolutely fell in love with it. Exercise is a really important part of my life, but my real passion is for dance and dance fitness. I believe it is an excellent way to express yourself and an amazingly fun way to stay in shape. Originally from Moscow, Russia, Irina moved to Denver a year after getting married. She has two kids and a passion for Zumba. Irina has been dancing since she was young. She first started Zumba 15 years ago, and has been an instructor for 11 years. Being an accountant for 20 years , she enjoys the stress relief and fun workout that Zumba provides. In her free time, Irina loves traveling, reading, watching movies, and doing yoga.

Hi, I’m Jennifer (or Jenn), an instructor for SHiNE™ Tribe 5280 in Southeast Aurora, Colorado. I found SHiNE™ back in 2020 during the pandemic & began taking classes online with Stephanie. It’s always enjoyable going out dancing with friends & the hip hop songs took me back to my high school days. It was so much fun to learn the moves while getting a great workout in! I began thinking about becoming an instructor in 2023 & took the leap to get officially certified in April 2024. It is very important to me to find a community that is supportive & uplifting, which is exactly what we stand for. I’m so excited to continue to build our tribe! In addition to being a dance fitness instructor, I spend the majority of my time working from home as a surgery scheduler. It can be stressful at times & the hours can long so it’s nice to have a break to move my body. Hand in hand I am an independent consultant with a wellness company. Teaching people about health & self care is something I’m truly passionate about. Between all those things I set side time to spend with my husband & two kids. We enjoy crafting, playing board games, watching anime, roller skating & getting outside during the summer.

Hey beautiful people! I’m so excited to share my love of dance with you all! I’ve been dancing since the age of 3, starting with classic styles of ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary and later joining a competitive ballroom dance team in college. As an adult I was introduced to LaBlast® Fitness, partner-free ballroom dance, and I immediately fell in love with its holistic philosophy of physical, mental, and emotional well being. I’ve also been an Occupational Therapist since 2013 and have loved incorporating dance into my therapeutic practice. More recently, I’ve developed an online training program for caregivers and will be utilizing dance as a therapeutic tool to promote confidence, body awareness, coping skills, and community. I truly believe that dance can heal in a way that other exercises cannot. When not working and dancing, I’m spending time with my hubby and two little guys who certainly keep me on my toes. We moved out to Colorado in 2020 from the Bay Area, CA and love living in a state with all four seasons.
Just remember… “If you can clap it, you can dance it!” Come join me to learn some amazing ballroom dance styles in a fun and upbeat space with a wide array of music that you’ll be singing to on your drive home. No prior dance experience necessary!

Hello! I’m Sonia , a newly certified yoga instructor with a deep passion for yoga and its holistic benefits. My journey into yoga began years ago, and it has profoundly transformed my approach to health, wellness, and self-discovery.
I recently completed my 200, 250 hours yoga teacher training at Online Yoga School where I had the privilege of learning under the guidance of experienced and inspiring teachers.
As a new instructor, my teaching philosophy is rooted in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students, regardless of their experience level. I aim to offer classes that are both accessible and engaging, focusing on proper alignment, breath awareness, and mindful movement. My goal is to support each student’s individual journey, helping them to cultivate strength, flexibility, and inner peace.
I am excited to share my love for yoga and to grow alongside my students. I believe in the transformative power of yoga to enhance physical well-being, reduce stress, and promote a balanced lifestyle. Join me on the mat, and let’s explore the many benefits of yoga together.

I consider myself a lifelong learner which is why I love learning and teaching new dance routines to my backup dancers. I am a big believer that fitness should be something that you enjoy, not dread. I found my passion with dance aerobics, I love hitting the dance floor and performing for an hour, all while burning calories and building muscle. I've been teaching group fitness since 2009. I never thought much about my weight. I knew I was overweight but I wasn’t terribly unhappy. I guess I’ve always lived a full, busy life and didn’t focus on it too much. Suddenly one day I got on the scale and saw a number I had never seen before. That was it for me. Seeing that number was just what I needed to get myself in gear. I knew I had to make myself a priority and I did. I began working out a few times a week, changed some eating habits and incorporated Herbalife into my diet. I quickly started seeing results and couldn’t have been happier. It was like a new high for me to keep going and find new exercises I could try and feel good about. Along my own journey I began encouraging others to get motivated to make healthy changes in their own lives just by seeing the changes my body was going through. Having friends and family by my side has been the best part! I also found a love for the Pound workout. I got certified as a Pound Pro and teach classes a couple times a week in addition to showing up for my own workout. I’m happy to still be a work in progress and living the best life I can for me!
